The Real Game California
Welcome to Life in California
The Real Game California™ is an educational curriculum designed to introduce ten or more participants to the future they face in California’s rapidly changing work environment. Employment opportunities, salaries, housing prices, learning facilities, and other market conditions specific to the state of California are kept current to the curriculum on a regular basis available to licensed users of The Real Game California 2.1.
Games that Teach the Rules of Life
Through a series of group game sessions that take approximately 26 hours to complete, each participant adopts a simulated work role, experiencing situations that all working adults face regularly.
Active and reflective activities revolving around The High Five principles, along with printed materials, class discussion, and dialogue with fellow players, facilitators, and family members generate the experiences that help participants navigate California’s 21st century work environment. These experiences help participants develop career self-management competencies and make realistic, informed career choices that the individual will find personally fulfilling.
California is the first American state to develop its own version of The Real Game™ — one of six levels of the Canadian-developed The Real Game Series™.
